You have to like dogs and cats, they run around freely in the guest room and beg the guests. There are old, dusty antique things on the window sills. Next to it a can with paint, loose power cables hang around freely. The toilets are clean, but totally outdated, the toilet seats have traces of cigarettes on them. On the positive side the food was tasty, freshly made and hot. Prices are ok. Family business with attached guest rooms. Negative no children's menu.

We ate tench and catfish, very good. Schlei in particular is rarely served.

Sitting outside is pleasant, but inside it smells a lot like fried oil. Not all fish are fresh.

The fisherman's hut has decent food, friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. The dishes are classic, the kitchen should pay more attention to the side dishes. There is room for improvement. I will come back.

We spent two nights in the pension “Alte Fischerhütte” and were very disappointed! From the price we had expected more, 55 € for the double room per night and 6.50 € per breakfast. And the breakfast was the best part of the stay there, served generously and friendly. The entrance to the room was brimming with dirt and the room itself probably had its last renovation before the wall came down. In addition, you can clearly hear the restaurant guests in the room. - Absolutely not recommended for overnight stays!

Very tasty fish, locally fished and freshly fried (Schlei). Very tasty, but something for bone experts. The fish bulbs were fantastically seasoned and the hunter schnitzel crispy and delicious. Gladly again!

You can sit outside very well, the service is friendly and brisk. Unfortunately, on the last visit, a big sip of basil vinegar for the side dish got on the fish ... Otherwise everything was fine.

This is a review of the food and the boat rental service. The staff was nice. The restaurant offers typical German comfort food with some local fish options. Don't expect a culinary adventure and get ready for some plates that fill you up. Rental experience was smooth. The boat worked as expected, even though it could have been cleaner. We had a blast on the lake.
